Best Breakfast we've had in the Lakes. Excellent ingredients cooked to perfection. We have visited the Muddy Duck for the last 4 years and happy to say the new location is outstanding. Setting is lovely, they have thought about all weather's & dogs too in the outside area, can't fault a thing about it and would highly recommend a visit.

It had been recommended to me to go to Caldbeck and see what our option was of Muddy Duck @Caldbeck went with open mind came away with a smile and happy tummy, the service was perfect and staff all looked very happy, the premises were beautiful the food gorgeous.
Honestly can’t praise it enough if you’re in Caldbeck area go in stunning outdoor seating area and lovely menu to pick from, the garden and plants in the outdoor area so relaxing with a stream running through the middle of the Cafe, indoor is very comfortable.

Cafe was busy, but we got seated straight away by a friendly member of staff, choice of food was excellent and good value, although we had to queue to order food etc this was fairly straight forward with no hassle. Service by the two girls at the counter was friendly and efficient, food and drinks served quickly. Overall a pleasant visit with friendly Staff, certainly worth anther visit.

We had an amazing experience at the Muddy Duck Caldbeck. This beautiful village hosts the ‘Muddy Duck’ with the ‘beck’ passing through to create an idyllic setting to eat, drink and above all relax. Massive shout out to the friendly staff and chefs, the care and attention truly evident! The garden, decking and terrace seating is the icing on the cake of this quaint gem and a must for those wishing to relax in a garden oasis. Will definitely visit again and recommend others to put on their ‘to do’ list while visiting the lakes.
