Hi all, thanks for stopping by! My name is Gary Tumilty and I write The Muddy Duck blog. I currently run a web based bicycle business (Totally Bike) that aims to deliver excellent quality bicycles at the best possible prices. I enjoy computing and IT, especially the design side of things and have worked on many projects developing logos, marketing material and even websites.
Away from work I enjoy the outdoors and last year I became more competitive in my cycling hobby by competing in the North West Cyclocross Association League. I enjoyed the league last year but will miss out on the 2012-13 league unfortunately due to a broken hand! I was also introduced to my local cycling club, North Cheshire Clarion, through cyclocross participation, of which I am now a member.
I also enjoy other outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, walking and running. I’m having to get into the running side of things a bit more now as the hand injury stops me from riding any kind of bike! Fishing normally means 1-2 trips a year down to Anglesey, this year I managed to catch a dogfish, 5 pollock and 5 mackerel.
I live in Cheshire with my partner, Nicola (Nicsnotebook.com), our 3 cats (Jess, Jinx and Meg) and our 2 Springer Spaniel Pups (Chester and Holly). We are constantly busy and the dogs take up a lot of our time, we wouldn’t change them for the world though!
